My little grandson Dylan loves drawing. He sometimes uses his right hand and sometimes his left. I think he uses his left more than his right, but we’ll see, as time goes on, which he prefers.
When he was very little, I bought him a high chair, which converts into a low table and chair. It’s really useful and it wasn’t difficult to assemble either. I wonder why it is that furniture all comes in a flat-pack these days? Not everyone has carpentry skills, do they!
Dylan likes magic painting. We bought him this book and I was expecting the colours to come out just like the cover! Wrong, they were all wishy washy…
However Dylan didn’t seem to notice. He had a great time painting the dinosaurs,
and I had a great time watching him.
He loved washing the brush in the water and making a little bit of a mess.
He has already been to visit his new cousin, baby Sam and gave him a present: a pack of ducks to play with in the bath.
Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing. I had magic pictures as a child too; the colors were all watery, but I didn’t care either.
I had magic painting too. I can still remember doing it. One of the nice things about being a grandparent is reliving one’s own childhood!
Oh, those eyelashes! Beautiful person, Star. Why is it all these young boys are so well endowed with those lashes? 🙂
You’re right, he does have lovely long eyelashes. I think the girls will notice that when he gets to be a teenager!
He is certainly growing up, and I love his wavy hair.
I love his wavy hair too Valerie. He had it cut recently, as shown in the picture and it really suits him better I think. I like little boys to look like little boys.
Awww such a lovely photo of you both… such concentration.. I remember well these magic paint books when my children were small,, Yes they do disappoint when the colours are pale But Dylan looks to have had fun.. xxx
