This morning I was called to the woods to experience again the white magic I find there with snow. Follow my path as I travel…
The arrows point the way …
Through the park …
Across the bridge …
Amongst the trees…
Beneath the leaden skies …
No sound… all is quiet.
Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Yes Oma, lovely pictures!
Very beautiful pictures. We are having another few inches here tonight; it should be very pretty by morning.
These are just stunning!
Beautiful! Stay warm!
Oma, lovely photos.. and you are looking good as well 🙂
I love the Magic of snow.. and our Forests hold that magic in the quiet as the branches hold the snow…
I love snow.. when I do not have to drive in it to work.. and on Saturday i did do battle through 8 inches of snow to get to the lady I support.. but made it…
So I was very Happy to see the rain clear it just as fast…
Thank you for sharing
